About the Role

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to support our tax team with preparation of individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in tax preparation, prefers flexible scheduling, and wants the option to work remotely.

This position will focus primarily on tax return preparation. There is no client-facing responsibility required, allowing you to focus on quality and efficiency. For those interested in professional growth, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time, but the role can remain focused strictly on tax prep if preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and complete tax returns (individual, business, estate, and trust) using CCH Access and Caseware workpapers
• Follow CPA’s direction on return assignments and workflow priorities
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of client data
• Collaborate with CPA and team members as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience preparing tax returns required (2+ seasons preferred)
• Proficiency with tax software (experience with CCH a plus)
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Accounting degree, EA, or CPA credentials required
